Deborah Anderson presented photographic images from her time filming in Pine Ridge at the world-renowned Leica Gallery in Los Angeles in a Spring 2018 exhibition titled "Women Of The White Buffalo.” This exhibit featured images taken during the Documentary’s principal filming during the winter of 2018 on the Pine Ridge Reservation.
The next exhibition will be January-February 2019 at the Leica Gallery in New York.
The timeless images of “Women Of The White Buffalo” tell the stories of the past, present and future of Native Americans. The project aims to bring awareness to some of the many events and circumstances that have led to the present conditions in order to promote education, conversation and healing to a global audience.
A portion of the proceeds from photography sales and tax-free donations towards the film have already made their way back to the Pine Ridge community to aid projects including The Wounded Knee Youth Center.
